Andrej gre na odpravo v Indijo

Danes se v Indijo odpravljata še Andrej in Marko. Silvo je odpotoval že dan prej, da uredi vse birokracijske zadevščine.

SREČNO naši trije - "Babe Sharks"!

Letošnji veliki cilj Andreja, Marka in Silva je lepa stena v odmaknjenem in birokracijsko silno zapletenem indijskem predelu Garhwalske Himalaje, Meru Sharks Fin (Meru Central).

Kakšni so načrti ter kaj vse čaka naše tri plezalce si lahko preberete pod odpravo "Garhwal Indija 2009".

Tokrat ostane ženski del doma in bo skrbel za informacijsko in vremensko logistiko. Vsake toliko bomo kakšne novice z odprave zapisale tudi na tej strani, pod rubriko "novice - zadnja odprava". Vabljeni k prebiranju novičk.

Našim trem pa želim predvsem lepo vreme in ugodne razmere, da uresničijo to, zaradi česar gredo za mesec in pol na pot med res "jebačke" vrhove, stene in gore.

O tem zakaj smo jih poimenovali "Babe", pa kdaj drugič.

Luka Krajnc and Andrej Grmovšek finsihed short visit to the Dolomites with the first free ascent of Via Sandro Pertini, Cima Grande (7c, 250m) and free ascent of the magnificent Via Cattedrale (8a+ or 8a, 650m, 850m long), Marmolada.

The expedition to Morocco was really great. We were enraptured with its diversity and hospitability of the local people. And especially with unbelievably amounts of reddish walls, one of the best limestone climbing cliffs we know!

New routes in Miyar Nala
In the end of summer 2007 Tanja and Andrej Grmovšek traveled to Miyar Nala, Himachal Pradhes, Indian Himalaya. They climbed four new routes and stood on two 5000+m virgin peaks.
